Welcome to the Putnam Emergency and Amateur Repeater League web site. PEARL is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation of licensed amateur radio operators. Most of our members live in and around Putnam County, New York. PEARL was formed in 1979 with the following goals, which remain unchanged to the present day.

 


PEARL Holds meeting on the 3rd Wednesday of ever month. Go to the PEARL Event calendar for up to date times and dates will be held . Meets are at the Putnam County Bureau of Emergency Services Training & Operations Center(TOPS) on the Donald B.Smith Government Campus at 112 Old Route 6, Carmel, NY 10512. Socializing starts at 7:00 p.m. with the meeting starting at 7:30 p.m. Visitors are always welcome.


 

The Goal's of PEARL
  • To provide common coverage north and south over Putnam ridges.
  • To establish constant blanket coverage for commuters.
  • To establish emergency service: ARES and RACES.
  • To educate and train amateurs and future amateurs
  • To establish a technical fraternity to help each other.
  • To enjoy friendship and life.
  • To present and promote amateur radio to the community.
  • To cooperate with like-minded neighboring organizations.
  • To encourage and support public service.
